Sep. 1979 Established as an affiliate of Tiyoda Manufactur. ing Co., Ltd. a maker of medical/scientific equip ment and biotechnology-related equipment Began manufacturing electronic controllers, ultra sonic wave oscillators and pressure vessel applied equipment for use in Tiyoda Mfg.’s products.
Jun. 1980 Developed and started manufacturing the solid copy developing machine for the blind, invented by Prof. Y. Yonezawa, Faculty of Technology, Shinshu University.
Aug. 1980 Developed and started manufacturing the UB series of ultrasonic wave oscillators for cleaning.
Dec. 1980 Started manufacturing the E Series of microcomputer controllers for large-scale steam sterilization equipment.
Mar. 1984 Developed and started manufacturing the YS series of ultrasonic cleaners for industrial use.
Oct. 1984 Developed the controllers for biotechnology-related equipment as well as fermentative cultivation equipment.
Mar. 1987 Acquired authorization for the manufacture of class 1 pressure vessels.
Jan. 1988 Developed and started manufacturing high-frequency wave applied equipment.
Mar. 1988 Developed and started manufacturing a new type of solid copy developing machine.
Sep. 1989 Developed and started manufacturing the hand held sealers.
Feb. 1992 Retrieved an industrial site 10,4002 in Chikuma city, Nagano.
Mar. 1992 Capital increased to ¥20 million.
Jun. 1994 Developed and began manufacturing YP Series hydrocarbonic based cleaning equipment.
Sep. 1994 Developed and began manufacturing and sale of the advanced ultrasonic-wave cleaning unit with both sweep and burst oscillation functions.
Oct. 1994 Developed and began manufacturing and sale of vacuum de-aerators (for hydrocarbonic water).
Apr. 1997 Developed and began manufacturing of a vacuum ultrasonic wave de-aerators.
Aug. 1997  Built and moved plate bending and maching.
Nov. 1998 Began the development manufacture and sales of the 100kHz high-frequency ultrasonic oscillators and the 1000kHz alpha mega high-frequency ultrasonic oscillators both with on-board output stabilizer circuit and automatic tracking circuit
Aug. 2 Obtained certification to international quality control standard ISO9001 (main plant) for design, development, and servicing of environment testing equipment.
Mar. 2001 Rebuilt the Yawata Plant (the 2nd floor). Moved the departments of design and manufacturing to the Yawata Plant.
Sep. 2001 Capital increased to ¥40 million.
May. 2002 Developed and began manufacturing and sale of the desktop pressurized-heated de-foaming equipment.
Oct. 2002 Registered with environmental evaluation program “Eco Action 21″.
Aug. 2003 Accredited to quality management standard ISO 9001, Version 2000.
Feb. 2005 Developed and started manufacturing the exhaust equipment for medical use.
Mar. 2005 Extended manufacturing assembly facility at Yawata plant.
Jun. 2006 Developed and started manufacturing of the ultrasonic power supply.
Sep. 2006 Started manufacturing and sale of the electronic thermostatic chamber.
Dec. 2006 Developed and began manufacturing and sale of the vacuum multi-frequencies ultrasonic cleaner.
Mar. 2007 United the development and design department and sales department and removed them to the main office and plant, united and removed all the manufacture departments to Yawata plant.
Apr. 2008 Developed and began manufacturing and sale of the intermediate frequency ultrasonic cleaning unit HRS series and dual frequency ultrasonic cleaning unit HRS-D series.
Aug. 2009 Transited to ISO9001-2008.
Mar. 2011 Developed and began manufacturing and sale of automatic high-pressurized cure system.
Oct. 2012 Changed Company name from Tiyoda Electric.Co., Ltd to Chiyoda Electric Co., Ltd.
Apr. 2013 Developed and began manufacturing and sale of the low frequency ultrasonic cleaning unit GP series.
Sep. 2013 Developed and began manufacturing and sale of automatic endoscope disinfector for otorhinolaryngology.
Apr. 2014 Developed and began manufacturing and sale of desktop type sterilizer, model No. MB-250, in accordance with class B standard of EN13060. Developed and began manufacturing and sale of washer disinfector in accordance with ISO15883.
Feb. 2015 Obtained certification of ISO13485-2003.
Dec. 2015 Built Main Plant at Sinden, Chikuma City. Engineering department relocated to the main plant.
May. 2016 Developed and began manufacturing and sale of desktop type class N sterilizer, model No. MY250A.
Aug. 2017 President Hiromi Nanao assumed the position of chairperson of the Board, Managing Director Masaaki Higuchi assumed the presidency.
